“T Chai x Pharaoh Cat: A Journey into Ancient Egypt” thematic showcase @ Maritime Square

MTR Corporation and the Hong Kong Palace Museum (HKPM or the Museum) have joined hands on a cross-sector collaboration to launch the "T Chai x Pharaoh Cat: A Journey into Ancient Egypt" thematic showcase starting from 28 May 2026. "T Chai" transforms into a pharaoh and joins the beloved “Pharaoh Cat" at nine MTR stations and malls to curate a citywide cultural discovery route. Extending the museum experience into the community, the initiative invites the public to embark on a cultural journey spanning 5,000 years of ancient Egypt civilisation.

At the lifestyle hub Maritime Square, the Pharaoh Cat of Love brings to life the ancient Egyptian jar motifs that resemble today’s heart symbol.

“T Chai x Pharaoh Cat: A Journey into Ancient Egypt” Pop-up Store 

Additionally, MTR and the HKPM are jointly launching a range of limited-edition souvenirs that blend ancient Egyptian cultural elements with railway features, making them highly collectible. An official pop-up store has been established at Maritime Square, providing visitors with convenient access to merchandise from the "Ancient Egyptian Civilization Exhibition".

Maritime Square -“Ancient Egypt Unveiled” tickets and “Pharaoh Cat” + “Pharaoh T Chai” fans Gift Set redemption

To experience the charm of ancient Egyptian civilization in person, Maritime Square has prepared 50 sets of the “Ancient Egypt Unveiled" Ticket¹  and Pharaoh Cat” + “Pharaoh T Chai” commemorative fan for redemption by shoppers (including 2 physical tickets and 2 commemorative fans).

During 6 – 7 June, MTR Mobile users can redeem the mentioned gift set upon electronic spending² of accumulative HK$1,000³  in same day (maximum 2 receipts) at participating shops (except pop-up stores & kiosks, supermarkets and service categories) in Maritime Square. Only 50 sets available, available on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.

Completed participants can redeem the Limited-edition "Pharaoh T Chai x Pharaoh Cat" gift set at HK$288, which includes plush key charms of Pharaoh T Chai and Pharaoh Cat, together with accessories such as a train captain name badge and mosaic-style key charms for added collecting fun.
